The Class 7 Declamation was held on Monday, the 6 th of February, 2023 in the
first two periods.
The 12 finalists, 3 from each class, were selected after many elimination rounds.
The air was buzzing with excitement as the enthusiastic participants were waiting
to put their best foot forward to impress the judges. The programme began with a
prayer. After welcoming Principal Sr. Alpana, the judges
Ms. Teresa Rodrigues with experience of 45 years and Ms. Minny Thomas, with
experience of 27 years, were introduced to the audience which comprised of
class 7 students.
After the students’ thrilling final round of nearly 3 minute long, well-modulated
famous speeches of varied personalities like Abdul Kalam, Julius Caesar’s Mark
Anthony, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, Malala Yousufzai etc., the judges were truly
impressed and shared a few tips on public speaking.
Sr. Alpana announced the names of the deserving winners to the eagerly waiting
audience to a thunderous applause.
