Under the guidance of Principal Sister Alpana SND, the Class 10 EVS
students of Sophia High School, Bangalore, went on an educational field visit
to the KMF Nandini Milk Factory in Kolar and the Mulbagal CMC Solid Waste
Management Facility. The visit took place on Saturday, 27th August 2024, and
was accompanied by two teachers, Mrs. Merlin Sharmila R and Ms. Somy
John.
The students observed various processes involved in the production and
distribution of Nandini dairy products, gaining valuable insights into industrial
practices and the control measures implemented at the facility. Additionally,
they had the opportunity to learn about waste management practices
designed to protect the environment in a sustainable way.
Overall, the visit provided a valuable educational experience for our students,
supplementing their learning in an engaging manner.
