Constitution Day

Constitution Day, observed on 26th November, marks the historic moment in 1949 when the Constituent Assembly adopted the Constitution of India. More than the adoption of a document, this day celebrates India’s commitment to justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. It also honours Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Constitution, whose vision continues to guide our democracy.

Our school celebrated Constitution Day with respect and enthusiasm. The Class 11 Legal Studies students presented a thoughtful reflection on the Fundamental Duties, reminding everyone that while rights empower us, duties strengthen the nation.

The entire school then joined in reciting the Preamble, reaffirming the constitutional values that unite us. A special highlight of the day was the unveiling of a beautifully crafted copy of the Constitution of India, gifted by a parent and unveiled by our Principal, Sr. Alpana. This meaningful gesture symbolised the school’s commitment to nurturing informed and responsible citizens.

The celebration served as a powerful reminder that the Constitution is not just a historical milestone—it is a living guide that continues to inspire every generation to uphold the principles that define India.
