On Saturday, 28th June, our school held a meaningful doctrine retreat
conducted by the Redemptorist priests. The day began with prayer and lively
praise and worship, with some of us students even joining in on the action
songs on stage.
The retreat, themed “Seen,” reminded us that we are seen, known and loved
by God. Separate sessions were held for different groups and the one for
students from Grades 8 to 12 was especially impactful. One of the most
striking elements was the large mirror placed at the entrance of the session
room, encouraging us to reflect on how God sees us. Each of us also
received a bookmark with a small mirror—a special keepsake from the day
ensuring that we always know in our hearts that God sees us.
This prayerful and impactful retreat was concluded with the holy mass and a
meal arranged for all students. On behalf of the student body, I thank our
doctrine teachers for organizing this retreat and our Principal Sr. Alpana for
making it possible and giving us this opportunity to deepen our faith.
