The Sophia Interact Club launched their project of selling eco-friendly products in their aim to reduce
plastic usage. In the presence of the Provincial Superior Sr. Chetana,Principals Sr. Alpana, Sr.
Madhuja,Treasurer Sr. Divya, Secretary of the school Sr. Kripa, other sisters of SND and the chief
guest Dr. Sabu Joseph on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav( 75 years of India's
Independence) 15-8-2022. The product launch was done waving a magic wand symbolically to break
the spell of plastic on mother earth. Their slogan for this year is Dharthi Namma Nidhi ( Earth Our
Treasure)
Promotional videos shot entirely by the interactors were played too.
They have a dual purpose of raising awareness of a sustainable lifestyle and also funds for future
projects through this.
The products are Bamboo flasks and jute coasters.
