The Graduation Ceremony of Sophia High School was held on 13th December at
5:00 p.m. in the Sophia High School Auditorium. The programme was organised
to honour the successful completion of school education by 199 students of
Class X and 116 students of Class XII, marking an important milestone in their
academic journey.
The ceremony commenced with a formal and dignified welcome, followed by the
lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, Dr. Fr. Jose C.C., Vice
Chancellor of CHRIST University, along with Sr. Chetana, Provincial Superior; Sr.
Alpana, Principal; Sr. Vishala, Principal of the Primary Section; and Ms.
Chethana, Staff Council Member. The honouring of Mother Mary, the patroness
of the institution, and the hymn Ave Maria set a solemn and reflective tone for the
evening.
In his address, Dr. Fr. Jose C.C. stressed that love, sustained effort, and sacrifice
are essential for leading a successful and meaningful life, and urged the
graduates to uphold these values as they move forward. Sr. Alpana, the
Principal, encouraged the students to remain rooted in the values imparted by
the school and to face future challenges with confidence and determination.
The Parent Speaker, Mr. George K. Mathew, shared his reflections on the vital
role played by the school in shaping responsible and confident individuals. The
Head Girl delivered a heartfelt farewell address on behalf of the graduating
students, expressing gratitude to the management, teachers, and parents for
their constant support and guidance.
The symbolic distribution of mementos and candles highlighted the students’
transition into the next phase of life. The ceremony concluded with the school
song and a vote of thanks, bringing the memorable evening to a graceful close.
