On 15 th of August, 74 years ago, our nation got Independence. This day is indeed the most auspicious day in the history of our nation as it won back it’s freedom after many years of relentless struggle put in by our great freedom fighters.
The students of Cuvilly building i.e 5 th and 6 th grade, presented the 74th Independence Day Virtual Assembly commemorating this day. The virtual choir brought live to us the song ‘Bharat hum ko pyaar’ followed by readings from the Holy Books of Bible, Quran and Bhagavat Gita.
The students then offered prayers for our leaders and the nation. Separate prayers were offered for the doctors, nurses and all frontline workers who have sacrificed their safety in these dreary days when our nation has been swept away because of the pandemic.
