Interact Club Installation

The Sophia High School Interact Club, District 3191, held the installation ceremony of 36, 7th graders who were inducted as Interact Board of Directors, (2026-27) in the school auditorium on July 17th, 2026.

They were badged by the chief guest, Rtn. Karthik Kittu, District Director - Youth Service, R I District 3191and Guests of Honour Rtn. Vinay Patil, District Interact Committee Chair, R I District 3191 and Rotarians from the sponsor Club, Rotary Koramangala, President Rtn. Pintoo Ganguly, Youth Services Director Rtn. Manoj Kumar Madhavan and Rtn. Divya. The distinguished guests lauded the past Interactors for their projects displayed in a brief video and encouraged the young students to endeavour and never give up even when the going goes tough.

Sophia High School Principal Sr. Alpana congratulated the past Interactors for their achievements and wished the new team well in the true cause of service after badging them. Primary school Principal Sr. Tanuja and Opportunity School Principal, Sr. Madhuja with Treasurer Sr. Pushpa joined in the badging. Past President, Ellyn Kiara Lobo, thanked the Principal and Interact teachers for their encouragement and urged the new team to remember the ideals of service before self. The new President Demira Anya Gera, addressed the audience consisting of her new team, their parents, teachers, peers from grades 6 , 7, distinguished and Rotarians for the very first time and promised to uphold the legacy in an exciting year ahead. The choir's rendition of the invocation song and the school song enhanced the solemn ceremony. The visiting attendees unanimously appreciated it for its perfect execution with meaningful engagement all set for a promising year.
