Interact Installation Ceremony


The Installation Ceremony of Sophia Interact Club 2024-25, was held on 25th July, 2024 in the school hall badging 47 new Interactors into the fold under Rotary Koramangala, RI Dist. 3191 in the august presence of Rotarians, Principals, Interact Club teachers, parents and the peers of these 47 lucky 7th graders.

The solemn occasion commenced with a beautiful prayer song and the air of excitement and formality continued as the interactors received their badges setting the stage for Sophia School's Platinum Jubilee year. Past Secretary Kashhvi, officially brought the meeting to order which was graced by distinguished members chief guest Rtn.Unnikrishnan Menon (District Youth Service Director) and guests of honour Rtn. Anuradha Biswas (President, Rotary koramangala), Rtn. Sumit (YSD, Rotary Koramangala), Rtn. Divya Gowda (Rotary Koramangala), DIR Jashruth, Sophia Principal Sr. Alpana and Sophia Opportunity School Principal Sr. Madhuja. They badged the 47 incoming Interactors symbolising their commitment to the club and awarded certificates to the 33 deserving Outgoing Interactors. Itr. Mishka Bhandari, who spoke about her wonderful experience as the Past President urged the new Interactors to carry on the legacy which the new President Ishanvi Mukherjee duly noted and promised in her eloquent speech as she received the prestigious collar from the Past President. After a group photo was taken to mark this prestigious event in the Sophia campus all the guests, shared their personal views, extolled the virtues of the club and exhorted each member to be as committed and active as they could be for the betterment of society.

Principal Sr. Alpana reiterated Rtn. Anuradha Biswas' view of the magical strength of girl power while thanking the wonderful past year's team and particularly addressing the Interactors' parents to remain supportive. The new Vice President Swetlana Goswami, delivered the Vote of Thanks and the meeting was adjourned by the newly elected Secretary Hansika M. The session ended with the singing of their dear school song.
