Legal Aid Camp

On the 20th of July, the Legal Studies Department headed by Mrs. Nidhi Mehta along with the students of Std. XII conducted a legal aid camp at an old age home located near the Queens Road, Bangalore.

The students recorded their observations in the forms given to them. They had a very emotional yet knowledgeable experience as they met the people there and learnt about their past and living conditions. The department further reached out to each one of them and provided them with ear muffs and toiletries as a gesture of gratitude for their cooperation.

Overall, this activity created a huge impact on the student body. They realised the importance of legal aid and their role as students of legal studies in delivering the same.

We thank the school and Sr. Alpana for giving us this opportunity and motivating us to do our bit towards the society. We also thank Sr. Pushpa for aiding us with the required transportation.
