On 1st of August, 2026, Sophia High School organized an outreach program, sending the
students of class X D to Bosco Yuvodaya, in Gandhi Nagar, Majestic. This initiative was an opportunity for the students to instill a sense of gratitude and compassion in themselves.
Bosco Yovodaya is a rescue centre for children who have left their homes in search of a new
chapter in their lives. The social workers here provide shelter, education and sense of communityto the children and have been doing so for the last 40 years.
The interaction with children ranging from ages 5 to 17, taught us that every individual has
unique and different experience as to how life has treated them.
Sophia High School provided them with basic necessities needed to make their daily lives easier. This set an example for the students to always be kind to those in need, who do not have the
same opportunities and privileges as we do.
Leaving the centre, we were filled with appreciation for the things we often take for granted. Thetime we spent together, the stories told and the laughter we shared are moments that will stay in our hearts forever. We are forever grateful to Sophia High School for providing us with an
unforgettable experience.
