Republic Day 2021

The 72nd Republic day was celebrated on 26th January 2021 virtually with the Sophia family with great zeal and enthusiasm. The students from Preparatory to Std. 1 had participated and coordinated to make this virtual assembly possible.

The Program started by introduction to Republic day followed by invocation dance. Followed by a beautiful song sung by the students thanking God for the abundant gifts that he has given each one of us.

Students offered their prayers to the almighty God for the frontline workers and armed forces, people who have lost their lives like the freedom fighters, armed forces, frontline workers and those who lost their lives in this pandemic and for the school management, teachers, staff and domestic staff.

Group of students showed India’s spirit through dance. Students explained the significance of Republic Day and the constitution and about its Preamble. Later the students put together a ppt of pictures showing the attire of different states of our country and also a ppt timeline of how we celebrated our republic day.

The program was concluded by our beloved Principal Sr. Alpana who inspired us by her beautiful message.
