Road Race-3E 2022

Sophia High School’s annual road race was organised on 13 th August 2022 by the Physical Education Department. This year it went by the title ‘3E Run- Empower, Enrich, Enlighten’. The route taken was 3.5 kms around the outside periphery of the campus. That Saturday chilly morning at 6:30am saw a burst of colourful and enthusiastic highschoolers sprinting off the starting line as soon as they were flagged off by the Provincial Superior, Sr.Chetana, SND. The next batch of runners were the mothers, followed by the teachers with the fathers making up the rear end of the 4 different categories. This year witnessed a record number of registrations with 840 registrations! With the registration fee of Rs.350 per head they were each issued a green T-shirt bearing the Run logo. This road race was held to create awareness about issues that are pertinent among the underprivileged brethren of our society and it was heart warming to see such an enthusiastic outpouring.
