On December 6, 2024, Sophia High School marked a memorable occasion
titled “Enduring Impact, Lasting Gratitude” to honour retiring teachers and
jubilarians who have significantly shaped the institution’s legacy. The event
was graced by Sr. Priscilla, Secretary of the school and Superior of the
Provincial House, the principals, and other sisters from the Sophia community,

The celebration commenced with a heartfelt prayer service featuring a

programmes. Students delivered captivating performances, including the
“Circle of Life” dance, a Panchatatva Dance symbolizing harmony and
balance in nature, a Kodavatu dance showcasing cultural heritage, and an
empowering dance celebrating the resilience and strength of girls. A medley of
songs by students of Std.1 added a delightful charm to the proceedings. The
celebration also included Sophia’s Hall of Fame, a creative depiction of
Sophia’s remarkable 75-year history, highlighting milestones and
achievements that have defined the school’s journey.
