Std. IX C Outreach Report

A DAY WELL SPENT

The class of 9C visited Kutumba (Empowering the Challenged) on the 1 st of August, 2026. It is an NGO situated off KRC Road in Visthar, Doddagubbi, Bengaluru. It was originally known for its group foster care and livelihood programs for differently-abled girls. Kutumba now focuses primarily on day care, nutrition, and health awareness for the children of migrant workers in the surrounding slum areas.

As soon as we entered the place, we were warmly greeted by the tiny tots and staff. We were given a brief introduction about the place and how it came into being. Soon after, we performed a song and danced for the little ones. The children seemed extremely happy and ecstatic, and their joy made the atmosphere lively and memorable. Not long after, the little ones did a performance of their own. It was truly adorable to watch. Later, we were allowed to interact with a little ones, which was one of the most heart- warming parts of the visit. Their innocence, energy, and happiness made the experience very special.

We were extremely reluctant to leave this beautiful place full of priceless memories and moments. The visit to Kutumba was both meaningful and touching as it helped us understand the importance of care, compassion, and support for children in need.

We sincerely thank our principal, Sister Alpana for giving us this opportunity to visit this lovely place. This will definitely remain a day cherished by all of us.
