Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and gratitude on 4th
September in the school campus. The day was dedicated to honouring and
appreciating the invaluable contribution of teachers in shaping young minds.
The celebration began with a warm welcome by the Principal, during which
favours were pinned as a mark of respect and appreciation. The theme for the
day, “From Chalk Dust to Star Dust,” beautifully highlighted the inspiring journey
of teachers in guiding students towards success. Following this, a graceful march
to the auditorium was organized, where teachers were greeted with a loud and
cheerful welcome by the students.
The programme commenced with a series of vibrant dances and cultural
performances presented by students from Julie, Barat, Cuvilly, Mater, Leans,
Duchesne, and ISC classes. Each performance reflected creativity, gratitude,
and admiration for the teachers. Adding depth to the theme, the students of
Class XI presented a special skit that was both meaningful and engaging. The
Student Council members also presented a separate special dance, which was
highly appreciated by all.
The celebration truly made the teachers feel valued and special. Principal Sr.
Alpana addressed the gathering and extended her heartfelt wishes to all
teachers, acknowledging their dedication and commitment. This was followed by
the vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Annie Alphonso on behalf of all the teachers,
expressing gratitude to the management, students, and organizers.
The programme concluded on a joyful note as the management hosted a lunch
for the teachers. Gifts were distributed prior to lunch, generously sponsored by
the Management, PTA, and the Bank, adding to the happiness of the occasion.
Overall, the Teachers’ Day celebration was a memorable event, filled with
appreciation, joy, and heartfelt expressions of gratitude for the educators who
continue to inspire and guide students every day.
