On 5th September, Sophia High School celebrated Teacher’s Day with a warm welcome from Nia Motha, the Head Girl, and Esha Daniel, the Assistant Head Girl. Their engaging introduction set a positive tone for the event. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom, was followed by a profound Bible reading that provided reflection and inspiration.
The event featured a variety of vibrant performances, many of which were meticulously trained by the student council leaders under the able guidance of our principals Sr. Alpana, Sr. Vishala, Sr. Madhuja, and our treasurer Sr. Pushpa. Highlights included a dynamic Invocation Dance and a series of musical and dance acts showcasing the students’ talent and creativity.
An insightful PTA Address, supported by a video, highlighted the significant contributions of teachers. The celebration also featured a spirited dance by the 12th grade students and an engaging skit by the 11th grade titled "Voyage of Discovery."
The event concluded with a high-energy Council Dance and a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers. The Teacher’s Day celebration was a resounding success, characterized by engaging performances, meaningful reflections, and a strong sense of community.
