REPORT OF THE OUTREACH PROGRAM OF CLASS 6C ON 5/10/24

This Academic year the students of class 6C went on an outreach program to MERCY HOME for DESTITUTE WOMEN Rajajinagar 1 st block Bangalore 10.

The students were briefed about the outreach program a week before. On 5/10/24 they went on the outreach program. Mercy Home had 35 inmates. On reaching the place, one of the students introduced the class and purpose of the visit. This was followed by a short entertainment program consisting of a few songs and dances. The students then interacted with women and asked about their wellbeing. They also gave some groceries items which the school has provided through the interact club and some things that the students had brought.

After spending an hour's time with the women we returned back to the school. It was a great learning experience for the students were they learnt to appreciate the elders in the family and give back to society in small ways possible.
