Theme: ಕೈಗಳೇ ಕಿರೀಟ – Hands Are the Crown
Sophia High School celebrated Workers’ Day on 29th October 2026 with great
joy, gratitude and appreciation, honouring the dedicated workers who form an
integral part of our school community.
The celebration began with a prayer service, followed by a prayer dance and a
meaningful enactment based on the biblical passage, “Come to Me, All You Who
Are Weary” (Matthew 11:28–30). The reflection highlighted the dignity of labour
and reminded everyone that every helping hand deserves respect and recognition.
The programme continued with soulful prayer songs and intercessions offered for
workers, their families, the unemployed and the entire school community.
Students from different blocks presented lively cultural performances, adding
colour and enthusiasm to the occasion.
A special highlight was the felicitation of our dear Mrs. Mary on her retirement, in
recognition of her 21 years of dedicated and sincere service to the institution. The
school also honoured all its workers in appreciation of their commitment, hard
work and invaluable contribution.
The celebration was a beautiful expression of gratitude, reminding us that the true
crown is not always worn on the head but is found in the hands that serve with
love and dedication.
“Hands that serve are hands that shine!”
