Dal Chawal Project

Sophia Interact Club teachers and students participated wholeheartedly in the Dal Chawal project planned by Rotary Club Koramangala. We sponsored and distributed a hundred nourishing meals from the Dal Chawal Trust to rag pickers at their colony in Vittasandra in Begur on 25/7/2021.

Interactors Rhea, Ria, Vinisha and Nethra were accompanied by their supportive parents. Their teachers Ms.Prithvi, Sushma and Alphonsa were also there with Principal Sr.Alpana and sisters Anupriya and Shruthi. This task created an awareness of the problems of the underprivileged in society and to henceforth appreciate their food better and respect all that they have.
