As part of the teacher’s enrichment programme, Sophia High School had arranged an interesting and interactive session with Dr. Mathew Varghese, Chairman – CURE International India Trust and HOD of the Orthopedic department at St. Stephen’s Hospital, Delhi in association with CIIT. Dr. In this interactive session Dr.Mathew gave us insights about the onset and the theory of Covid-19 and the reason for its spread. He emphasised the importance and need of wearing masks and regular washing of hands even after one is vaccinated. He answered our queries laying all our doubts and anxiety to rest. The session concluded with a brief interaction with Dr. Santosh, a renowned nutritionist. Where he emphasised the need for a healthy nutritional diet to build immunity and fight the deadly virus. This session was an eye-opener and a reality check for all of us.
