“A page of history is worth a pound of logic.’’
The integration of work and study is the key element in SOPHIA HIGH SCHOOL.
On the 8th and 9th of July, the Mighty Mater students of 8th grade showcased their wonderful talents by enacting skits on the ‘Exploitation of Peasants and artisans during the British rule.’ All the students participated enthusiastically in this activity which was conducted on Zoom.
On the 8th of July, the students of 8A and 8B showed us their prodigious performance in teams from Amazing Andersson, Bold Barat, Beaming Bennett to Joyful Julie. It was truly a wonderful to watch students bringing history alive.
On the 9th of July, the students of 8C and 8D had presented their astounding videos. This time around, they called themselves the Golden Train Blazers of Andersson, Bright Barat, Breath taking Bennett and Enthusiastic Julie. It was almost like we were watching a movie.
I think it’s safe to say that we all have learnt a lot about the history of the exploitation of artisans and peasants.
Thank you Sister Alpana for giving us the opportunity to learn so much on this topic.
I am sure all of us had a wonderful time researching the topic.
Thank you Miss Anjana, Miss Elizabeth, Miss Maria Shushma for guiding us and coming to all our rehearsals.
