“An act of commitment transforms a promise into reality”
The new academic session (2022-23) at Sophia High School, Bangalore,began with an enriching session by the experienced Franciscan Fr. Trevor from St. Anthony’s Friary. It was conducted on the 1 st of June, 2022 from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. He highlighted the importance of various aspects of self care with a colour coded activity and peer to peer recollection and evaluation of the pros and cons. The session also focused on achieving a balance in the three important aspects of the daily life of the staff gathered there: personal, school and family life for efficiency and better results. The entire staff was involved in an animated activity with coloured balloons symbolising the three aspects that had to be kept airborne.
Fr. Trevor adeptly dealt with the other important facets and points of empathizing, confidence and inculcating the right values in children. All of the teachers also gained a different insight and were made richer by this rewarding experience to facilitate enhanced classroom transactions.
