The Interact Club of Sophia High School since its inception has been working in different spheres of community development. This year has been very special to the Interact team, with the launch of Yuvati Bhavati – as a special theme we are diversified and reaching out to Women and catering to their Holistic Development – A transformation from Yuvati to Bhavati.

After the success of Yuvati Bhavati -Pariyavaran and Yuvati Bhavati Kalakriti the team interact on the 18th November 2021 launched its next Programme. A programme which focuses on a healthy life from within. A programme which highlights the need for nutrition – the Yuvati Bhavati – Pusti –this holistic programme is initiated by Sophia Interact Club under the guidance of SND in collaboration with We Plant – Seed Bank NGO headed by Dr. Santhosh George.

‘Beej bachao Beej Ugao’ is an innovation to End Malnutrition and Hunger Death. This creative programme witnessed the blessings and love of Sr.Sreeja Mother General of the congregation of Sisters of Notre Dame, Sr Chetana our provincial Superior and our beloved principals Sr.Alpana, Sr.Anjana and Sr.Madhuja. The campaign was officially announced and inaugurated by Sr.Sreeja and Sr.Chetna by sowing the collected nutrition seeds like Mango, Drumstick, Amla, Jackfruit and custard apple.

This formal programme ended with Sr.Sreeja addressing the young interactors in a small conversation which was a golden opportunity for the students to open up and share their experiences about the various activities conducted by the Interact Club.
