THE YUVATI BHAVATI SWACHATHA CAMPAIGN –
Sophia Interact Club and Sisters of Notre Dame, Bangalore
The Sophia High School Interact Club with SND Bangalore celebrated International Day of Persons with Disability, on 3rd Dec, 2021, with the special children of Sophia Opportunity School which is celebrating its 50th glorious year. Keeping the need of the hour which is cleanliness in mind, Interact club collaborated with the Sisters to inaugurate the Yuvati Bhavati Swachatha campaign. Each reusable attractive Swachata kit consists of a toothpaste, brush, washing and bathing soaps, hair oil and shampoo collected by the whole school especially the 11th graders. Sanitizers, eco friendly reusable cloth sanitary pads and diapers for the physically immobile have also been mobilised for further distribution at other places of need.
The staff and students of Leans section, the sisters, 11th graders and the Interactors on campus participated enthusiastically in distributing and making the day a memorable one for our special children.
