Welcome to Sophia High School

Sophia High School, situated on 70, Palace Road, Bangalore is an all girls, Catholic institution founded in 1949 by Mother Andersson of the Religious Order of the Sacred Heart. Since 1972, the school has been run by the Sisters of Notre Dame under the Barat Society and is placed under the patronage of Mary, Mother of Jesus.

*An Unforgettable Experience : Students of Sophia High School Gain Inspiration and Insight from the Indian Army at Nathula Pass.*
Students of standard 9 got an opportunity to interact with the Indian army at Nathula Pass, located on the India-China border during their excursion to Sikkim. It was a truly motivating experience for the students. They got an insight into the challenges faced by the soldiers on a daily basis and gain a better understanding of the importance of national security. This firsthand experience has left a lasting impression on the students and has inspired them to be more committed towards serving their country.
